As i mentioned in my last post, I spent a majority of my day yesterday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

So, the last time I was there i saw this painting 

It’s a painting by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo entitled “Allegory of the Planets and Continents”

look closely at it. 

it’s pretty trippy. 

But doesn’t it closely resemble Kanye West’s “Power” video? 

anyways, although it looks like something straight out of the book of Illuminati, the picture depicts Apollo on his travel routine across the sky.

history lesson: ok, so Apollo was technically the greek god of the sun, being the son of Zeus, however, he’s most commonly known as the god of music as he carried a lyer (some kind of musical instrument).  Although he used his music and poetry to spread joy throughout Olympia (the home of the Gods) he was, after Zeus, regarded as the most powerful God and was even feared by all the other Gods.
